I know the importance of presenting a consistent visual message and believe in creating and following design guidelines with attention to detail. Even though your logo and the font you use might seem insignificant, the branding message they present to the world can have a huge impact on your success.
These are some steps to creating your brand:
- Make sure your company has a unique name, that represents itself well
- Ask yourself, what are your company's values, focus and goals?
- Design an orignial logo, distinct from other companies in your field, and which embodies your company.
- Create a Style Guide that includes the fonts, colors, and appropriate use of graphics for your company. The guide will be a handbook for all employees to maintain cohesivness in the presentation of all documents, or anywhere your brand exists.
- Design document templates that meet the requirements of your Style Guide, and make day-to-day branding a no-brainer.
